In Morgan Newton We Trust?

With Mike Hartline eliminating himself from further consideration as a UK quarterback our attention turns to the two highly prized recruits from the 2009 recruiting class.  When Ryan Mossakowski committed to Kentucky I was elated and stunned.  UK had recruited a stud QB from the state of Texas, but I also worried that meant the end of any dream of Morgan Newton coming here as well.  Thankfully I was wrong and it now seems the team has interesting depth at a position that can help build toward more than 7 win seasons.  With the "I've lost my way and I need a Compass" bowl game less than a month away the obvious reaction is to start Newton as he has the experience from last year.  While I know this will happen I still think it could be wise for Joker to get some series in for Mossakowski if anything to get his feet wet and at least see what he can bring to the table.  In the spring I do hope for an all out competition and have faith that Joker will pick the best QB for the system he is trying to run.
