With the announcement that Rakeem Buckles will miss the game tomorrow with a finger injury, and Mike Marra and Elisha Justice also reported to be out, what does this meen for Louisville as far a depth is concerned - by the way, "depth" is the reason some delusional UL fans argue they will win tomorrow.
-Louisville has 10 players averaging at least 10 minutes and 3 points per game this season, with 3 out that leaves 7 "quality players" available tomorrow. For comparison UK also has 7 players averaging at least 10min and 3pts.
-Marra, Buckles, and Justice are the 4th, 6th, and 10th ranked scorers averaging 9.3, 8.2, and 4.7 a game. UK's 4th, 6th, and 10th ranked scorers are Liggins, Harrelson, and Poole with 10.3, 5.4, and 0.4.
-I use the term quality players loosely, as nobody on Louisvilles roster would likely start for the Cats or even be the 6th man. UK should have more talent at every position on the floor. Bottom line- if UK can stay out of foul trouble they should have no trouble winning this game.
