This afternoon the UK board of trustees approved a new contract extension for UK athletic director, Mitch Barnhart. the deal will add three more years to his current contract which no is until 2019 and will increase his salary from $475,000 to $600,000 a year. the man that hired the likes of John Calipari, Rich Brooks and Billy G will be here for a few more years. congrats Mitch and hopefully UK athletics will continue the strive towards excellence.
