A Must Win Game?

Kentucky is in a really tough situation in the SEC east right now. The Cats are 4-3 in the conference which is nothing amazing but there is sense of urgency with this game against the hated Florida Gators. With two games left against Tennessee, Florida, and Vanderbilt one would have to assume this is a MUST WIN for the Cats. With those six tough games left the Cats would probably need to pull out four wins out of the six to be sitting in a good spot in the SEC.

Florida is in first place right now, this would be the biggest win of the season as far as importance. I can say from personal experience that the O'Connell Center is nothing too crazy, the students are extremely lively but it is not impossible to escape there with a W.

With Doron Lamb being statistically the best three point shooter IN THE HISTORY OF KENTUCKY BASKETBALL (as of right now), Deandre's defense, the Freshman talent, and the need for the leaders (Miller especially) stepping up, the Cats can definitely win this game. They need to stay focused, play smart, execute like they have been (the 11 TOs a game the Cats average is the fewest in 13 years). Kentucky needs to start winning the close games, maybe tonight will be the game to turn the season back on the right track.

So, is this a MUST WIN GAME? No pressure on the Cats, but this game is huge.

Go. Cats. Go.
