On the Road Again..

I don't know about you but after tonight I really miss Rupp Arena. UK lost another close SEC road game to Arkansas tonight, 77-76 in OT. UK played a close game for the most part and even had a last second shot to win the game in both regulation and OT. Overall UK played a terrible game on all sides of the court. This was easily the worst defensive game of the season with forcing only 8 turnovers. Rebounding also played a major part in UK's loss. UK out rebounded Arkansas but it was the amount of rebounds but the timing. UK missed a lot of key rebounds that gave up points including one at the end of regulation when UK could have sealed the deal, instead Harrellson let his rebound get stolen away and Arkansas was able to tie the game. It was also a poor shooting night for the Cats, only making three 3-pointer's all game. I keep hoping that UK has learned a lesson from these close road games but I'm not really sure. Again Knight led all UK players with 26 points. Liggins and Miller both had 13. Rotnei Clarke led Arkansas with 26 points. Hopefully UK has learned something but we have a tough HOME game this Saturday against the gators. Until next time, Go Cats!
