Quick Calls for Mississippi St.

Mississippi State still hasn't called Demarcus, and is still scared of him. I love Boogie.

On to some quick hitters for tonights game vs. the Bulldogs from Miss St.

1) While State likes to shoot lights out against us (everyone does, we saw Jenkins this weekend) they do have some suspect shooters on the team. Let Jalen Steele and Kodi Augustus shoot, they aren't very good at it (as soon as I write this don't comment if they light us up for 20 a piece). They are both in the top six on State in field goals attempted and they both shoot under 42% from the field and under 28% from 3land.

2) State likes to turn the ball over, if the Cats can force some TOs look for some easy points in transition (cue Liggins).

3) Try and get in Renardo Sidney's head, we have all seen it, this guy is a loose cannon. I hope Rupp can boo him into a bad game.

4) Score at least 70: I don't know what it is about just scoring statistics but they are true oh so often. State has score at least 70 in only three SEC games. They lost one of those, and they beat Auburn in another which practically doesn't count.

5) Keep winning at Rupp: not going to jinx the game with any statements here, also State is coming off of a loss at Auburn who is arguably one of the worst division one men's basketball team.

6) Doron Lamb: hopefully Doron gets back to his old self and makes every shot he takes, like we know he can.

Look for the Cats to come out to play tonight (with or without Miller) and dominate the glass, shoot better, and take a much needed win going into the weekend. Ravern Johnson may score a bunch but he's just one person. Liggins can handle him.

Enjoy the game, and as always Go Cats
