Trevor Lacey to UK?

According to the Cullman Times in Alabama, their artilce had this to say about UK recruit Trevor Lacey's game last night:


HANCEVILLE — Trevor Lacey, last season’s Mr. Basketball, set a Class 4A regional record by scoring 44 points as top-ranked Butler defeated East Lawrence 84-40 in a Northwest Regional semifinal Thursday.

Lacey, a 6-foot-4 guard who has signed with Kentucky, hit 9-of-13 from the field and sank 5-of-12 3-pointers. He also connected on 11-of-15 free throws.

Lacey’s inside presence was devastating for the Eagles, who were outrebounded 47-31. Lacey collected 13 of those boards. To make it complete, he dealt out four assists.

East Lawrence also shot only eight free throws — making three.

Justin Pride added 13 points for the Rebels (30-2).

The Eagles were led by Cortez Birt, Justin Birgans and Orlando Davis, all of whom scored eight.
