Tonight the University of Kentucky Wildcat's head to Gainesville to take on the dirty University of Florida Gators in what is a really important game for both teams. with Florida on top of the SEC east standings at 6-2, UK really need's to pick up a win on the road to gain a win and move closer to the top of the standings. tonight will be a huge test considering how UK has played on the road so far this season and this Florida team is much better than some of the other team's UK has lost to on the road this season. there's a couple question's that we need to ask when evaluating tonight's game.
1. How will UK respond after playing their worst game of the season at ole miss? this game is arguably the toughest road game of the season for the Cat's outside of the Uofl game. It's really important t see how they will be able to bounce back in this tough road environment and if they can pick up a win, it will help show a lot in expectation's for the rest of the season. it's really important for the Cat's to show an urgency and toughness that they have lacked this season in order to win these tough road games.
2. Which Darius Miller will show up? this is always a question I ask when I'm about to watch a UK game. watching Darius Miller is really like watching Jekyll and Hyde, you really never have a clue if he will play aggressive or if he will play at all. there's been games where Miller looked great (ex. Against USC when he had 18 pts), there's also been game's where you forget he's even on the court. (ex. Ole Miss where he only had 3 pts.) Miller's success is vital to UK's success! In order for UK to win game's Miller has to step up and be aggressive. He also has to start making the play's veterans should make.
I think these two question's sort of go hand in hand with each other and hopefully a tough UK team will show up tonight to take on the rowdies. Let's go Cat's!
