Tonight was why every UK fan love's the Cat's playing at Rupp Arena. UK routed the Tennessee Volunteer's 73-61 with an all around great game. The Veteran player's came up huge with Liggins contributing a game high 19 points and Harrellson finishing with 16 points. the play of the veteran's was what really set UK apart tonight from Tennessee. they showed toughness, passion and aggressiveness that they have lacked for most of the season. Hopefully this will be a turning point for the Cat's and they will take this show on the road to Nashville on Saturday. Credit also need's to be given to Terrence Jones who really helped get Liggins and Harrellson involved. He passed up shots that he would usually try and force and only took what was given to him. the plays Jones made tonight don't show up in the stats column but helped UK win. thankfully the Cat's spoiled dirt Pearl's return party and left with a huge win. looking forward to moving up on Jimmy Dyke's Jet!
