Bracketology after Friday's games assuming the season ended today. Teams in blue are conference automatic qualifiers based on league record with RPI used as the tie breaker. Check us out on the Bracket Project Blog and the 2011 Bracket Matrix. I have Kentucky as a 5 seed taking on St. Mary's. Vanderbilt was able to beat St. Mary's by 19 in Nashville so while this game is winnable, 2 days later you're playing a tough Georgetown team that I think Kentucky can match up against as they don't have a dominant big. That story changes the week after as the Cats could be taking on Ohio St. Find a way to win that and the other half of the bracket has BYU and Syracuse. If Kentucky can beat Tennessee Sunday and win the SEC Tournament, Kentucky has a chance to move up to as high as a 3 seed.
I'd say this is a pretty favorable bracket aside from that nasty match-up with Ohio State. If we slide past them, then I'd love to get a shot at Duke.
ReplyDeleteI can't stand those arrogant pricks, nor their rat-faced coach.
