Basketball is practically a religion here in the Bluegrass state and every so often it seems that God decides to part the clouds and shoot down a ray of light in the form of a National Championship. This year is almost setting up to be the perfect storm here in the state.
Kentucky has a chance to win the state's 3rd basketball title this year. Pikeville College started the madness by winning the NAIA National Championship. Bellarmine University continued it today by winning the Division 2 National Championship.
Is this the year that Kentucky pulls off the triple?
