Morehead State is getting some love in the latest Bracketology projections. With upsets happening in other conference tournaments the Eagles are starting to get a lot of projections as a 14th seed. In the end they very well could be a dangerous 13 seed. Kenneth Faried, the do everything senior PF, is projected to be the 15th pick in the draft by NBA Draft Insider (Jones is 6, Kanter 8, and Knight 22). Faried was also named by CBS Sports as a 3rd team All American.
The future isn't as bright at Western Kentucky where The Courier-Journal reported today that Western Kentucky AD Ross Bjork plans to meet with head coach Ken McDonald soon, perhaps as early as the end of this week. A blog called Under the Hoop seems to think something could happen as soon as tomorrow:
"We are hearing there will be a press conference Wednesday to announce Ken McDonald will not return."
