Terrence Jones SEC Newcomer of the Year
Kentucky freshman forward Terrence Jones was named the Southeastern Conference Top Newcomer by The Associated Press and also was named to the AP All-SEC first team.
Florida's Chandler Parsons was a unanimous choice as SEC player of the year and Florida’s Billy Donovan was picked as coach of the year.
The SEC's leading scorer, John Jenkins of Vanderbilt, was another unanimous pick for the first team. Alabama's JaMychal Green and Chris Warren of Ole Miss also made the first team.
The second team includes Kentucky freshman Brandon Knight, Georgia's Trey Thompkins, Tennessee's Scotty Hopson, Alabama's Tony Mitchell and Florida's Erving Walker.
