Enough teams foolishly passed on our former star player to let him slip by until the Green Bay Packers snagged him as the 64th overall pick in this years draft (32nd pick in the second round). While not going in the first round as we all hoped it would, there is the plus side of him joining a good team and playing again with former UK kicker Tim Masthay.
Now we shall await the fate of other UK players like Derrick Locke and hope they find good teams to pick them up.
The Packers are instantly a playoff team.
