The box score is out, and the future WIldcats did well last night. Obviously A.D. (Anthony Davis) shined as co-MVP with 29 pts and 11 rebs. Gilchrist is a straight up man even though he is still on 17 years old. I loved it how he "showed Austin Rivers how it's done" after Rivers missed a selfish dunk, Gillie got the ball back and crammed a monster jam.
Teague looked ready to continue the trend of Cal's great point guards. He was explosive yet very controlled and had excellent court vision. He also sped by A.D. for a dunk of his own.
All in all it was a great game of no defense, tons of missed oops, and lots of ball hogging. But you couldn't help but notice how much everyone talked about Kentucky. It seemed as though UK was the only school being represented.
Now we wait for the hopeful Sophomores to choose their NBA future decisions. And Trevor Lacey is still holding out (most likely to see where the UK guys end up). He'd be an excellent addition to maybe the best recruiting class of all time.
Anthony Davis is going to be good, realll good.
