After picking up the Goodwin committment last night, we all hoped the next player to announce where he will take his talents for college would pick us as well. Unfortunately, Ellis (a power forward ranked as the 24th best player in his class by Rivals) picked Kansas as many thought he would ultimately choose. He cited reasons such as liking the staff at Kansas and making it easy for his family to attend games as reasons for his choice.
While we hoped to pick up another player for 2012 today, there are still several top players out there who have yet to decide and hopefully after attending Big Blue Madness, will make UK their home.
