Anthony Davis and the SEC Block Record

Anthony Davis enters today's game against Baylor with 169 blocks on the season.  He has already broken the freshman SEC block record held by Shaquille O'Neal and now sets his sites on SEC single season record that Jarvis Varnardo set with 170.

Davis is also 13 blocks from tying Hassan Whiteside for the Freshman block record.  That would equal out a little over 4 blocks per game if Kentucky were to reach the Championship game.

Currently Anthony Davis is tied for the 10th most blocks in a season.  If Kentucky can keep advancing and he can average 4-5 blocks per game Davis could finish 4th all time for blocks in a season.
