After the game was over, Davis and Calipari were both asked about the status of Davis' knee. The media was bringing up how it was one thing to fight through the pain full of adrenaline but wondered how Davis will be in the morning. Davis stated he wasn't worried about it, is isn't going to sit out, and that he will just keep treatment for it and be okay.
A few minutes later the question was addressed to Calipari and he had already forgot what the exact question was and when it was asked again, he just shook it off and said Davis will get treated starting on the plane ride home today and be okay.
There you go. Davis will receive top notch treatment to help ease any pain and swelling but in the end it wont be a factor and he will be playing Saturday.
