Kentucky and Iowa St. last played in the 1992 NCAA Tournament with the Cats winning a shootout 106-98.  Fred Hoiberg who was on that Iowa St. team is now the head coach and looking for revenge 20 years later.  In that game Hoiberg played 34 minutes before fouling out with 2 points and 8 rebounds.  Kentucky was led by Jamal Mashburn who had 27 points and 9 rebounds before also fouling out.  In this game Kentucky must move past the easy win against Western Kentucky and take Iowa St. as a possible threat.  Kentucky might not play anyone else in the tournament that is as dynamic as Royce White.  The Cats also must not look ahead to a disjointed bracket that sees a 10, 11, 12, and 15 seed all win on the opening days.
