Kentucky 2012 NCAA Tournament 2nd/3rd Round Student Tickets Still Available

According to the UKathletics website, UK will hold a lottery for 100 student tickets tonight at 5pm in Memorial Coliseum for the second and third round tournament games in Louisville. The doors for the lottery will open at 4pm. Each student that shows up will receive a number but only 50 numbers will be drawn. Each of the 50 students will get to choose one other student that is also present to get a ticket as well which will make up the 100 students that get tickets.

Tickets will NOT be $5 like Rupp student tickets. Instead students will have to be ready to pay $60 tonight in cash or with a credit card for just the second round game. If UK wins the second round game then they will be given tickets for the third round and charged again for those tickets (most likely another $60). Since it should be a given we will beat whichever 16 seed team we face, any student that goes to the lottery should be ready to shell out $120 for the two games.
