Finding/Ordering The Sports Illustrated 2012 Commemorative Kentucky Issue Online

Earlier I posted that the 2012 SI commemorative Kentucky issue had hit stores but I'm not sure if that issue is just restricted to the Kentucky area or not. If not, you should be able to find it in book stores like Barnes and Noble or others. If you live outside Kentucky and haven't been able to find it in stores then there is an online option (besides E-bay).

Sports Illustrated is selling a special edition of this special edition (commemorative issue) online. The special edition of the commemorative issue, as far as I know, only differs in that it has a hard cover instead of the normal binding found in stores and that it just shows a UK on the front (as seen in the photo above) instead of the store version photo of Davis, Lamb, and Jones. The inside content should be exactly the same. The store commemorative issue advertises this special edition inside of it and the photos it shows from inside the special edition are the exact same pages from the store version. In other words, there is really no reason to buy the online version if you have the store version. If you cannot find the store version, then the online version offers you to have the same content as the issue found in stores.

Another big difference is price. The online version with its hard cover costs $19.95 + $4.95 for shipping. The store version is only $7.99.

You can find the online version at: www.sichampsbook.com (link).

There is also another way to get this issue which is to subscribe to Sports Illustrated for a year in a package that gives you this book, a shirt, and a basketball. That deal can be found here.
