After partying downtown Monday night, stocking up on several championship t-shirts and UK gear, standing in line for free Orange Leaf, buying one quarter-pounder and getting the second for 8 cents at McDonald's and then buying the Sports Illustrated magazines and UK Coke cans out today, were done celebrating our 8th championship right? No way! We had to wait 14 years to get back here so we're going to enjoy it a bit longer.
Tonight Phoenix Blue (which is a marketing and advertising company best I can tell) and Bellini's Italian Restaurant are putting on the Big Blue Block Party at 6pm at Cheapside Park's 5/3 Pavilion (Cheapside and Main St.). According to the events Facebook page there will be pizza, drinks, music, Tom Leach, former players, etc. If you aren't done celebrating then on out tonight and keep the party going!
