Bracketology Friday

Bracketology after Thursdays games assuming the season ended today.  Teams in blue are conference automatic qualifiers based on league record with RPI used as the tie breaker.  Check us out on the Bracket Project Blog and the 2011 Bracket Matrix.  I had Kentucky as a 3 seed but had to slide them down to a 4 in shuffling teams around to meet the NCAA rules on seeding teams.  Getting past Oakland could pit us against Louisville if they can survive the dreaded 5/12 game.  In the second week we'd possibly face 1 seed Pittsburgh and 2 seed Texas.  Both of these teams will be extremely tough, and this bracket does not look fun for Kentucky at all.  In reality the Cats must keep winning in the SEC to improve their seed line to a 1 or 2.
