Miller Time

Today was Miller Time at Rupp Arena. UK played what was arguably their best game of the season winning 90-59 over the South Carolina Gamecocks. Darius Miller played the game of his life and really gave UK a big edge over the Gamecocks. Everything went the Cats way today and they never looked back after starting the game on a 14-0 run. Miller led all scorers on a career high 22 points along with 9 rebounds. Terrence Jones had his 10th double-double with 19 points and 12 rebounds. UK went up 29 points at halftime over the Gamecocks and played great on both ends of the court. Every player contributed to the win with 5 players scoring in double-digits. The only time UK looked bad was at various times in the 2nd half when the Gamecocks decided to press the Cat's. It's extremely encouraging to see Miller play the way he did today. He looked confident, aggressive and looked like he wanted to be there. IF he continues this play UK will be a tough team to beat. Other than those moments UK played better then any other game this season and will hopefully continue this play on the Road Wednesday night at Arkansas. Until next time Go Cats!
