Tim Higgins Blows it Again
If you missed the end of the St. John's - Rutgers Big East tournament game you missed plenty of questionable no calls, but what ended up being the craziest moment was the last play of the game. Rutgers was inbounding down 2 with 4.9 seconds left when they threw the ball slightly past half court. The pass was picked off by a St. John's player who proceeded to run out of bounds and throw the ball up in the air all while the clock was still running. Nothing was called and the refs walked off the court. If you watch the video below you will see Tim Higgins on the left watching the player go out of bounds. Does he look familiar? Oh that's because he's the same ref who made the out of bounds call in the Alabama - Vanderbilt game in February.
