Lost in the joy of UK winning its 27th SEC tournament title was news that Arkansas has fired John Pelphrey as thier head basketball coach. Pelphrey was a member of the "unforgettables" squad coached by Pitino in his early years at UK. Pelphrey hasn't done much in his time at Arkansas but he did have a terrific recruiting class coming in next year, including 5 star player

BJ Young and Ky Madden. It will be interesting to see if the players decide to attend Arkansas despite a coaching change. Sad news for a former Cat.
