Cal Picks Up First 2012 Cat

Just when you think the sports news is done for the day someone goes and commits to UK right before you turn your computer off to go to bed!

Archie Goodwin, a 5 star shooting guard for the 2012 class officially committed to UK tonight/this morning tweeting out "If you don't know by now I'm a Wildcat". He is ranked as the #2 and #3 shooting guard for his class on Rivals.com and Scout.com, respectively.

We all knew Calipari would start bringing in some top recruits for next year, we just didn't know when they would pull the trigger on UK. Hopefully with Goodwin committing, others (like Perry Ellis who announces his pick later today) will follow.
