As Tom pointed out recently, it appears that the domino effect of UK recruits for the class of 2012 could soon be starting. Gary Harris is the #12 overall prospect in the 2012 class and the #2 shooting guard. He has not recently been on UK's radar; most think he is going to end up at Purdue or Indiana, or worse Louisville.
Word broke late yesterday evening of an in home visit by Coach Cal, Antigua, and Payne to Harris' home in Indiana. Most of the same comments that all parents have when UK's staff visits were said by Harris' father. He really like the coaching staff, but what was strangest was that Cal expressed his want for Harris and how he would fit into the system. As awesome as it would be to have Harris, is this an indication of commitments to come? Harris has previously not been too much of a target, but is the recent recruitment due to some rumors of other prospects going elsewhere?
Everyone wants to know about Shabazz and Archie, are they going to be Wildcats or are they going somewhere else and opening a spot for Harris?
With Perry's commitment tomorrow, the UK recruiting circus for 2012 is about to begin. Lets hope we can round up another top class.
