Perry Ellis, the highly touted recruit from the state of Kansas, has announced that he will pick a college at a press conference on Wednesday. UK, Kansas, Kansas State, and Wichita State are the four schools Perry will choose from, making UK the only school on his list outside of Kansas. Perry has slipped a bit in the rankings, but Coach Cal has made him a top priority for the 2012 class, so Cal must really like his game. Also, Calipari was the last coach to visit Perry before he announced that he is ready to pick a school. Chances are good that Perry will become the first commitment of the 2012 class (not including Ryan Harrow).
