Kentucky and Indiana play in a rematch from earlier this season that saw Indiana win on a last second 3 pointer.  The game marked a resurgence for Indiana and spawned an annoying ESPN commercial.  The game was the first road test for the Cats and it showed in a few areas late in the game.  Anthony Davis missed the front end of a one-and-one with 19.9 seconds to go.  Doron Lamb, who led the Wildcats with 19 points, missed the first of two free throws with 5.6 seconds left.  And with two fouls to give on Indiana's last possession, the Wildcats couldn't get close enough to draw even one.

Kentucky holds a 31-24 series lead and a 2-1 edge all-time in NCAA Tournament meetings, the last one a 64-50 Cats win in 1983.
